About the Pegler Gate Valve
A Pegler Yorkshire bronze gate valve with a handwheel and non-rising stem that lowers a one-piece wedge across the flow. It screws onto pipework with female taper threads and, when fully open, leaves a clear bore with little pressure loss. It is used for on-off isolation of water and general services lines.
